Because they weren’t bringing much from
their previous home aside from mementos
and family photographs, Walters helped the
couple find flexible furnishings that pack
plenty of function and style. For instance,
in the guest room, a daybed piled with
fluffy pillows features a pop-up trundle
that can accommodate as many as three
grandchildren at a time for sleepovers.
“They think it’s neat that grandmother
and grandfather live so close by,” says Carole.
